Risk & Compliance Manager, Risk Operations
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall operational management which may include a combination of compliance and industry influence, project & governance team, insight and Quality team including accomplishment of team goals/objectives and team development & succession
- Oversight of the design and delivery of well managed frameworks that provide value to Risk Operations whilst ensuring compliance with regulation, corporate policies and a thorough understanding of our risk profile;
- Responsible for development of a quality strategy to measure regulatory adherence, compliance with Policy & Procedure and quality standards across our extended enterprise. Ongoing monitoring, reporting and driving improvement agenda
- Responsible for understanding Risk Operations complaint drivers and customer grievances including reporting and driving improvement agenda
- Overall Responsibility for the development and execution of our debt collection agency and debt purchaser due diligence assessments, ongoing onsite assessments and any on boarding / off boarding assessments including internal self assessment programs to monitor ongoing risks, process and control effectiveness.
- Responsible for managing a rigorous change control across Risk Operations through the processes
- Lead Risk Operations compliance projects
- Consultancy support on a range of Risk Operations initiatives from both a compliance and risk perspective
- Build strong network of external industry contacts
- Develop and maintain an industry influence agenda including both drafting of consultation responses and driving industry influence through a strong network of contacts
- Build on partnerships with the Risk Operations senior leadership team, Service operations counterparts and the central risk and legal team to meet overall Risk Operations objectives
- Drive a culture of Well Managed/Risk Management into Risk Operations
