Construction Project Manager
The successful applicant will be working on a number on new build and refurbishment projects up to a value of £15m, within a variety of sectors including industrial, commercial, retail, education and healthcare.
On a daily basis, you will be required to carry out the following duties:
Management of all aspects of the project from conception to completion.
Attending all design meetings with client, architect.
Assisting in the selection and management of specialist subcontractors.
Programming of project, ensuring that it is running on schedule.
Liaising with commercial staff to ensure project is being delivered within budget.
Assisting in the procurement of materials.
Method statements and Risk Assessments.
All Health and Safety Compliance.
Management of staff and subcontractors.
All applicants must demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Proven track record at a management level in the construction industry.
Experience of running projects up to £15m in value.
Wide variety of project experience.
Must have worked for a large Top 5 contractor - no specialist subcontractors will be considered.
Continuity of employment - no freelancers will be interviewed.
Client facing - applicants must have experience of working in a client facing role.
Confident, articulate, with a good all round building knowledge.
Relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
