Head of Debt Managment

A highly successful multi national internet based consumer lending company who are diversifying into the Debt Management industry are currently looking to secure a ‘Head of Debt Management’.

They are looking for a dynamic senior level individual who had a proven track record of success within the debt management industry.

This is a pivotal and exposed role within a rapidly expanding business. For the successful applicant who delivers, the role will surpass all expectations in terms of challenge, job satisfaction, rewards and recognition.

The ideal candidate will oversee approximately 150 FTE`s.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a team of agents on a day to day basis including the team leaders·
  • Be the driving force behind the sales team, motivating the team and improving performance·
  • Ensure all agents meet their targets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and where target are missed provide support and training to ensure their performance is improved
  • Carry out regular one to one meetings with the team
  • Hold regular buzz meetings with the team and forward the minutes of these meetings to appropriate line manager.
  • Ensure that all agents adhere to availability times on the dialer
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding their teams performance
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and activity reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in selling financial service products at a high level of performance is essential, evidence of meeting own sales targets will be required 
  • 3-5 years of experience in debt management/IVA sales management is desirable but experience is general finance and or collections experiences will be considered
  • 2-5 years of experience managing a team in a call centre environment will be required
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams is essential
