Leisure Development Manager

An excellent opportunity exists for a Leisure Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for setting, directing and managing the leisure development strategy for the company as they embark on very significant expansion and development plans to transform the 800 acre venue into an exciting and entertaining leisure destination for all ages. 

Fundamentally you will be able to work across different business functions and with a number of different stakeholders in the business whilst recognising the appropriate time to involve such parties. You must be able to carry out strategic reviews for existing product areas as well as being able to consider completely new business initiatives, drawing on learnings from the Leisure industry as well as other industries within the UK.  Ideally you will be able to generate new ideas and capture existing ideas in the business quickly and effectively and to know how to manage them through from idea generation stage to presentation of proposal stage.

The ideal candidate must have significant experience at a senior level in project management in either the leisure or retail sectors ideally with a strong operational background. You will need to be degree educated and have advanced knowledge of project management software and operating systems and be able to demonstrate outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills at board level.
