Microsoft Technical Architect/.Net Architect

FTSE 100 company is looking for a Technical Architect to produce Technical Specifications for new projects/products/change controls to facilitate the on-going development and maintenance of the client's website. The successful candidate for this role will join the Architecture Team for the Client's website. The technical teams, including Architecture, Development and Support are based in Leeds, while the business teams are based in London.

The main focus of the successful candidate will be to ensure that the business requirements as specified by the Business Analysis team in London can be developed into a Technical Specification documents sufficient for the Development Team to deliver a suitable solution. The successful candidate will bridge the business work stream to technical work stream divide by providing a focal point for all product development discussions.

The successful candidate will have to gain an in-depth knowledge of the architecture of the existing solution to ensure that development of the Technical Specifications is not dependent on developer resource.

This role will not require the successful candidate to develop production code, however an in-depth understanding of coding and coding practice is essential.
